I've broken out one of the old hobbies again, for the first time in what seems like nearly a decade. Hell, it might even have been a decade.
I used to spend a lot of time painting. Not on a canvas, or even on paper, but model painting, mostly vinyl, resin, or lead miniatures. It was always a good way for me to have some quiet time. In the days before I had fully embraced my inner nerd.
I bought a new kit a couple of weeks ago. I had it assembled about an hour after Dayna and I got home, but it has been sitting on my disk since then, untouched. It has mostly been a lack of free time that has stopped my from doing anything with it, but that changed tonight. Tonight, I got it primed, and I got the first coat of red onto it.
Pics follow (big ones, I haven't resized or cropped at all), with more to come as it evolves.
