Robin

When I was younger, much younger, I had the most amazing Aunt in the entire world.

My memories are admittedly on the hazy side, as I was only about 12 years old when she was taken from us. Taken from me.

Robin's death was incredibly traumatic for me, I think more so that anyone in my family really realizes, except for my mom, because she always seems to surprise me with how intuitive she is. I hate that.

It's been 17 or so years, and I really can only look back, and wonder how different I would be as a person if I had grown up my entire life having Robin, who was this amazing pillar of strength and vitality, as a core part of my life.

I think that, she is a large part of the reason now, that it is very important for me to be the "Favorite Uncle" to all of my Nieces and Nephews. I just really hope that one day I can impact them, the way that Robin impacted my life growing up. I hope that I am able to teach them, and guide them in the same way that she guided me.

Mighty big shoes to fill.

Thanks, and much Gratitude to Jeff for restoring this absolutely ancient photo for me.
